What is a good Projection screen for in home theater?
I need a 45 x 80 permanent mounted screen for my projector. My theater does not have light coming into it so it does not have to be a special screen that allows for a bright room. My projector is 1080p if that matters if you could help that would be wonderful. Thanks.
Do not underestimate the importance of a good screen. The screen will have a big difference on the picture quality. Depending on the light output of the projector and the viewing angle this will help determine the right screen. For most home theater applications I strongly recommend the Stewart Greyhawk, it gives you the best detail, contrast, and decent off angle viewing. It is not cheap but like anything else you get what you pay for.
