Baby showers... what did you get?
When you had a baby shower did you get a lot of what was on your registry or did it not even matter that you had one? I have like 6 items $60 plus on there, which are the big items basically. Just wondering how many of you actually got the bigger priced items or if I should just buy them myself and take them off my registry? I know for a FACT that my mother will be buying my travel system, pack and play, and swing. I was thinking of purchasing my high chair, convertible carseat, bouncer, and floor play mat (it's a really awesome one at Babies R Us that is $79. I had a friend tell me that she got everything and more for her baby shower, I just do not know! Thanks for help!!
ask you family to buy the big stuff like crib, dresser, changing table, ect. I would wait on the high chair for now and get stuff you will use immediatly. just make sure you put where you are registered on your invitations and make it clear you want things that are only on your registery and you should get everything you need. i got just about everything i needed cause i made it clear to shop off of my registery and my parents and his parents took care of the big stuff thankfully
