yes i did spend 1,000 on the CPU and it will be very much well worth it
and a typo i meant 6990 not 5990 , i do all my shopping on newegg.com and had realized i was not looking at the 6990 that was for 1,000 it was the 5970 4gb 512mb GPU for 900 something, but still the 6990 is on there for over $700
